Atlantique, Emitac, RIM launch BlackBerry platform in Niger

West African mobile operator Atlantique Telecom, Emitac Mobile Solutions and Research In Motion have launched the BlackBerry platform for Moov customers in Niger. The BlackBerry platform brings together smartphones, software and services to allow wireless access to e-mail, messaging, social networking, phone, calendar, web, multimedia and other business and lifestyle applications. At launch, Moov Niger will offer the BlackBerry Curve 8520, the BlackBerry Bold 9700 and the BlackBerry Storm2 smartphones.
