Atos, Accenture, HP ink Schengen system management contract

The European Agency for Large-Scale IT Systems (eu-LISA) has selected the consortium made up of Atos, Accenture and HP to maintain and enhance the second-generation Schengen Information System (SIS II). The contract is for three years with a possible one-year extension. As consortium leader, Atos will manage SIS II from defining requirements through to validating the adapted software. Atos developed and supported the running of the previous systems SIS 1, in use until last year. Accenture will help enhance and evolve the software architecture of SIS II to increase system performance and
