Atos Origin increases profit despite lower revenues in 2010

French-headquartered international IT services group Atos Origin reported revenues down 3.5 percent to EUR 5.02 billion in 2010, but increased its operating margin and net profit thanks to acceleration of its TOP Program transformation plan. The group's operating margin rose by 6.7 percent to EUR 337 million and its net profit by 265 percent to EUR 116 million last year. Atos Origin's top two service lines, managed services and systems integration saw their revenues fall by 5 percent to EUR 1.85 billion and by 4.8 percent to EUR 1.77 billion, respectively.
