Atos to set up critical communication system for Iberdrola's off-shore wind farm in Brittany

Wednesday 2 December 2020 | 13:50 CET | News
France-based ICT company Atos is leading a consortium that will support the construction and operation of the Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm, which will be built in Brittany by Spanish energy company Iberdrola. As part of the contract, Atos will implement a unified critical voice communication platform for the helicopters, ships, and operational teams working in and around the new facility, located 16 km off the coast. The system will also link to a dedicated coordination centre located in nearby Pleudaniel, which will be set up by Atos to monitor all traffic going to the off-shore site.
