ATS expands into Mauritania with two distribution deals

Algerie Telecom Satellite (ATS) has gained a presence in Mauritania with two new distribution agreements, reports Agence Ecofin. The company's CEO, Yassine Sellahi, is currently finalising the deals in a trip to the country, meeting with representatives of Smart Managed Solutions (a subdiary of Groupe Al Raja) and new entrant EMCA. The contracts mark the start of ATS' international expansion, which relies on the services of the Alcomsat-1 satellite platform.
