Audacious MVNO launches on EE network to support people with hearing loss

Wednesday 14 August 2019 | 10:58 CET | News

A new MVNO called Audacious has launched in the UK using the network of BT Group company EE. Audacious will provide voice and 4G data services, with enhanced audio  to help the 10 million people in the UK with hearing loss.

The launch of Audacious is part of a previously announced agreement with Manx Telecom and its business incubator Vannin Ventures in autumn 2018. The mobile network was previously named Goshawk before before being rebranded as Audacious.

The new MVNO offers contracts on a rolling monthly basis. Customers can take a sound check on the website to receive a personalised hearing profile, and then order a personalised SIM card tailored to the way they hear. Audacious is offering a 2GB, 5GB and 10GB data plan for GBP 14, GBP 19 and GBP 24 per month respectively. All plans come with 5,000 minutes and 5,000 texts.
