Audi brings Android, iOS software platforms into cars

Audi has announced it will bring the Google Android Auto and Apple CarPlay software platforms into cars. Major functions will be integrated into the Audi Multi Media Interface (MMI) in the future. Audi is currently working closely with Google and Apple. The new functions will be available in the first Audi models starting in 2015. Audi customers will be able to use the functions available to them on their smartphones via the operating systems in their cars as well.
