Augmented reality apps to generate EUR 300 mln by 2013

Augmented reality (AR) applications are expected to generate close to EUR 300 million in revenues globally in 2013, according to a new report from Juniper Research. The report found that many retailers perceive AR as a key means of increasing engagement with consumers, both as a means of providing additional product information or in the form of branded virtual games and activities.
