Aurora Telecom works to complete new dark fibre cable network

Irish backhaul dark fibre service provider Aurora Telecom, part of Gas Networks Ireland, has started work on the final stage of a EUR 35 million dark fibre cable network between Cork and Dublin, reports the Irish Times. Aurora has already deployed around 855 km of ultra-high capacity fibre-optic cable, with 270 km still to go.
