Australia smartphone sales drop 3% to 4.6 mln units in H2

Around 4.6 million smartphones were sold in the second half of 2018, down 3 percent from the same period in 2017, according to a report from Australian emerging technology analyst firm Telsyte. The decline was mainly due to the fact that consumers held onto their handsets longer and look to 5G models amidst increasing prices of new models.
