Australia tablet computer sales grow 3.6% to 1.5 mln units in H1

Australian tablet computer sales increased by 3.6 percent year-on-year to 1.5 million units in the first half of 2018, according to a report from Telsyte. The study also shows that Apple maintained its market leadership with 49.6 percent iOS market share, compared to 26 percent for Windows, 24 percent for Android, and 0.4 percent for Chrome OS. iOS popularity was mainly boosted by the iPad 9.7 inch model, which was the leading product sold during the first half of this year, the report also indicates.
