Australia telecom complaints decline to lowest rate for June quarter

Complaints to the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO), as a proportion of services in operation (SIO) decreased to 6.6 complaints per 10,000 for the period between April and June 2019, from 7.5 complaints per 10,000 for the period between January and March 2019. This is the lowest ratio for the April – June quarter since 2016, according to a TIO report. Telstra saw 7.2 complaints per 10,000 SIO, while Vodafone posted 2.7 complaints per 10,000 SIO. Optus received 7.7 complaints per 10,000 SIO in the April to June period, while Amaysim saw 0.4 complaints per 10,000 SIO, and Pivotel
