Australia telecoms consumer complaints significantly decline in September quarter

Complaints to Australia's Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO) decreased to 4.8 complaints per 10,000 SIOs in the three months to 30 September 2021, from 5.3 in the prior quarter and 7 complaints in the October – December 2020 quarter. The latest results show that fewer than one in every 2,000 services in operation during the period experienced an issue that generated a complaint to the TIO.
