Australia video conferences, streaming services held up well during COVID-19 lockdown - study

Steps taken by NBN Co and service providers helped broadband speeds and connectivity held up well during May, despite a signifficant increase in the use of video conferencing and streaming services due to COVID-19, according to a report from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). The report examines the ability of NBN fixed-line broadband connections to support video-conferencing through Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Skype, Webex, Zoom and GoToMeeting.
