Australian, NZ operators give free calls after attacks

Australian operator Telstra will be offering free voice calls and texts to Lebanon and France made from personal postpaid mobiles and fixed lines, following the recent terrorist attacks in Beirut and Paris. Calls and texts will be free 5.00 am on 14 November until 5.00 am on 21 November. For personal pre-paid customers, Telstra will offer a refund for the costs of standard voice calls and SMS to Lebanon and France during the same period. Refunds will be applied by 27 November.
