Australian spend on IaaS to pass AUD 3 billion by 2025 - Telsyte

Tuesday 17 August 2021 | 14:14 CET | News
Australian organisations spent AUD 1.36 billion on Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) last year, from 988 million spent in 2019, according to the latest report from Telsyte. Spend is expected to reach AUD 1.74 this year and pass AUD 3 billion by 2025. A good third (33%) of Australian business leaders attributed the rise to the covid-19 pandemic, saying the pandemic was a driver for digital transformation strategies. Almost half said they now have a "cloud first" policy and that they are planning to increase their cloud spending in 2021.
