Australian watchdog releases reports on AI, IoT opportunities

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has released two occasional papers, titled 'Artificial intelligence in communications and media' and 'Internet of Things in media and communications', which explore these technologies and the challenges and opportunities they bring. Highlights of the reports include AI and IoT plays a variety of roles in communications and media markets and are changing how consumers interact with their environment, businesses and information; domestic and international regulatory frameworks are evolving to support the safe and ethical deployment of AI
