Australia's NBN average download performance hits 98.4% of plan speed

Australian customers on fixed-line NBN broadband connections experienced record high speeds in may this year. Most consumers received their maximum plan speeds more often in the busy evening hours of 19:00 hours to 23:00 hours, according to a report from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). The report further shows that the average download performance in May was 98.4 percent of plan speed during all hours, and 97.6 per cent during the busy hours.
