Australia's NBN upload speeds still not reaching maximum - study

Consumers on NBN fixed-line plans had access to download speeds averaging 97.2 percent of plan speed and upload speeds of 84.9 percent during the busy evening hours of 19:00 – 21:00 hours in September 2021, according to a report from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). In September 2021, NBN fixed wireless services achieved an average upload performance of 56.2 percent of plan speeds during all hours.
