Australia's Telecom Industry Ombudsman names Lavarch as chair

Australia's Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO) has appointed Michael Lavarch as its independent chair. Lavarch succeeds Patricia Faulkner, following her retirement on 14 July. Faulkner has held the role of TIO chair since February 2014. Lavarch has been on the TIO board since 2017 in the role of director with not for profit governance experience.
