Austria moves up in EU e-government services ranking

Austria has improved its position in some areas of the EU Commission's Digital Economy and Society Index DESI 2017, based on data from 2016. Among the 28 European countries, Austria ranks tenth in the overall index, the same as in the previous year. The country moved up one rank in provision of eGovernment services and ranks now fifth, while in the usage of those services, Austria is just above the EU average.
