Austria to chair Berec in 2018

The Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (Berec) has elected Johannes Gungl, CEO of Austrian regulator RTR, as its chairman for 2018. He will serve as vice chair in 2017, under the head of French regulator Arcep, Sebastien Soriano, as well as vice chair in 2019. This is the second time Austria has chaired the EU body.
