Austrian Altenmarkt survey finds support for fibre project

A public opinion poll of interest in fibre-optic network construction in the Lower Austrian municipality of Altenmarkt revealed that more than 40 percent of inhabitants want a fibre broadband connection. Altenmarkt thus joins other municipalities in four selected pilot regions, where noGIG, a subsidiary of the industry agency ecoplus, will implement fibre-optics infrastructure project.
