Austrian govt aims to improve e-commerce services

According to a survey by the Austrian e-Commerce Label, 67 percent of respondents report negative experiences of online shopping. The Ministry of Economy promotes the e-commerce label as a stamp of approval for small businesses, for a EUR 500 fee. More than a quarter (27 percent) of 500 respondents complained about the late delivery of goods, and just over one fifth complained of a deviation from their expectations or from the description given in the online shop (22 percent and 21 percent respectively).
