Austrian politician files complaint vs BND, Deutsche Telekom

As part of Operation Eikonal, the US NSA tapped Deutsche Telekom's fibre optic cables at the De-Cix internet exchange in Frankfurt, according to research by Austrian politician Peter Pilz, spiegel.de reports. The Green politician got hold of emails that prove the architecture of the operation, which started in 2005 at the latest, in his opinion.
