Austrian trade unions demand checks of all smart meter types

Norbert Schnedl, Chairman of the Christian Trade Unions of Austria, Vice-President of the Austrian Trade Unions Federation and the Chairman of the Public Service Trade Unions, is calling for an immediate check of smart meters for energy consumption in Austria. Schendl referred to the result of a Dutch study that found that more than 50 percent of smart meters showed false energy consumption results, very much to the detriment of consumers.
