Avaya revenues slip to USD 752 mln in Q1

CEO Jim Chirico said the company generated over 10 percent of its revenue from the cloud, with sequential increases in midmarket/SMB cloud seats of 41 percent and in cloud activations of 96 percent. In the quarter, Avaya added over 1,300 new customers and more than 265 partners. The company further pushed its cloud agenda with the acquisition of Spoken Communications.
