Average global broadband prices down just 1.6% to USD 73 a month - study

The average price of broadband worldwide has fallen just 1.64 per cent to USD 72.92 a month since the fourth quarter of 2017 even though speeds have accelerated by an average of 23 percent, according to the latest research from Cable.co.uk. The comparison of price data from 3,303 fixed-line broadband deals in 195 countries gathered from 15 August to 20 September revealed that prices fluctuated wildly from just USD 5.0 a month in Ukraine to USD 768.16 in Mauritania.
