AVM devices interoperate with Netcentrex softswitch

enabler of voice-video-data networks and next-generation services NetCentrex and German provider of VoIP devices AVM have completed their joint interoperability testing of the FRITZ!Box Fon and FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN from AVM with NetCentrex's CCS Softswitch environment, using the SIP protocol. The CCS Softswitch is a high performance multi-protocol class 4/5 application softswitch that performs call control, routing and value-added network infrastructure functions. AVM's residential gateways offer both class 5 services and next-generation applications.
