Avnet introduces LTE-M version of SmartEdge Agile device for Orange 'Live Booster' programme

Avnet will expand its IoT portfolio with a new SmartEdge Agile device that integrates an LTE-M compatible module developed for the Orange network. The module, based on Sequans' Monarch chipset, will be on display at the Sequans booth at MWC. It will become available later this year as part of the Orange 'Live Booster' initiative, which aims to bring to market IoT modules with integrated prepaid connectivity. Designed for edge computing applications, the SmartEdge Agile range embeds the AI-based capabilities of Octonion's Brainium software platform, giving users access to machine learning
