AWS launches Parallel Scan

Amazon Web Services has announced the availability of Parallel Scan, a new feature that allows users to access their Amazon DynamosDB data more quickly. In addition, AWS has made it up to four times cheaper to read large amounts of data out of Amazon DynamoDB. This also reduces the cost of copying data from Amazon DynamoDB to Amazon Redshift. With Amazon DynamoDB, customers get: fast, predictable performance at any scale, durability and high-availability, seamless scalability and easy administration.
