Axell launches fibre DAS supporting LTE frequency bands

Wireless coverage specialist Axell Wireless has launched its enhanced Distributed Antenna System (DAS). Axell's OMU II (optical master unit II) is an enhanced DAS hub that supports frequencies from FM to 2.6GHz, including all major global LTE frequency bands. The system is modular in design and can be configured to provide connectivity for a variety of remote units from eight high power MBF-40 series remotes through to twenty four of the low power MBF-20 series remotes or virtually any combination in between. The OMU II also supports both MIMO configurations and also up to eight separate base
