Axiata sells 5% stake in XL, reduces shareholding to 61.5%

Axiata, via its Axiata Investments (Indonesia) subsidiary, has sold 533,409,349 ordinary shares in mobile operator XL to Ferrymount Investments for IDR 1.44 trillion (approximately MYR 422 million) or IDR 2,700 per XL share. This represents approximately 5 percent equity interest in XL. Following this divestment, Axiata's shareholding in its Indonesian unit XL has been reduced to 61.5 percent.
