Axtel Q1 sales up 3% to MXN 3.1 bln following asset sales

Wednesday 24 April 2019 | 11:08 CET | News
Mexican operator and ICT services provider Axtel reported revenues of MXN 3.15 billion in the first quarter, up around 3 percent year on year, driven in part by a 4 percent rise in corporate revenues to MXN 2.63 billion. The company's EBITDA for the quarter was up around 7 percent year on year to MXN 1.74 billion when adjusted for the sale of towers to American Tower and the divestment of its residential FTTH business and related assets in Mexico City, Zapopan, Monterrey, Aguascalientes, San Luis Potosi and Ciudad Juarez to cable TV provider Grupo Televisa for a total of MXN 4.71 billion.
