Axtel Q4 sales down 3.4% YoY to MXN 3.5 bln, profit up to MXN 1.2 bln

Thursday 14 February 2019 | 11:53 CET | News
Mexican operator and ICT services provider Axtel reported revenues of MXN 3.45 billion in the fourth quarter, down 3.4 percent year on year, but up around 10 percent sequentially. The annual loss was attributed to lower sales in the government services segment, which in turn was the result of lower revenues in the telecom division. The company's EBITDA for the quarter dipped to MXN 1.10 billion from MXN 1.17 billion a year earlier due to the effect of the sale of towers to American Tower in 2017, although its net profit came in at MXN 1.24 billion compared to a MXN 923 million loss in Q4
