Axtel reaches 87,000 IPTV subs by end-Q3

Mexican telecoms operator Axtel has reached 87,000 subscribers in the IPTV segment by the end of the third quarter, up compared to 47,000 at end-September 2013. Axtel had launched its IPTV service in Januay 2013. The IPTV service is commercially available in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Toluca, San Luis Potosi, Queretaro, Puebla, Aguascalientes, Ciudad Juarez and Leon.
