Axtel revenues jump 24% in Q4, net loss narrows

Friday 28 February 2014 | 10:38 CET | News
Mexican fixed-line operator Axtel saw fourth-quarter revenues increase by 24 percent year-on-year to MXN 2.98 billion from 2.41 billion in the year-earlier period. EBITDA reached MXN 749 million in the fourth quarter, up by 31 percent year-on-year. This growth was mainly driven by integrated services and equipment sales to the enterprise and government segments, as well as high speed broadband and video services to the mass market customers, the comapby said. Axtel's operating loss narrowed to MXN 100 million from a net loss of MXN 590 million in December 2012.
