Axtel willing to eliminate Telcel interconnection fees

Mexican fixed-line operator Axtel supports the government's pro-competition regulation on interconnection. Axtel said it is willing to cut interconnection fees for Telcel if the latter agrees to do the same. The government's initiative is estimated to generate cost savings of nearly MXN 73.5 billion.
