Azam TV launches operations in Kenya

Azam TV has introduced a digital Direct to Home satellite broadcasting service in Kenya in competition to providers such as Multichoice, Star Times and Zuku. The new service will offer 60 local and international channels and will cost KES 870 per month. The fully installed Azam TV set-up is retailing at KES 6,300, or KES 2,905 for a decoder and smartcard only for viewers who already have satellite dishes.
