Azerbaijan communications firms borrow less from banks in first 5 months of 2021

Azerbaijan companies in the transport and communications sector borrowed AZN 825.9 million from bank between January and May of this year, reports Trend, citing a statement from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. The figure is down by 16.5 percent year-on-year.  Loans to the transport and communications sector formed 5.5 percent of all bank lending to businesses in the country, a decline of 1 percentage point year-on-year.
