Baden-Wurttemberg grants another EUR 12.3 mln for broadband

The government of the regional state of Baden-Wurttemberg said it will provide EUR 12.3 million to subsidise 30 broadband projects in place where it would not be deemed commercially viable to provide such infrastructure. It said it is handing out 72 subsidy approvals. It said that on 01 October, responsibility for broadband development passed from the Ministry for Rural Affairs and Consumer Protection, to the Ministry of the Interior, Digitisation and Migration.
