Bahnhof says Telia claims term 'open fibre' as trademark

Swedish ISP Bahnhof said on its Facebook page that its lawyer received a letter warning it that it faced a lawsuit if it did not stop using the term 'open fibre'. Telia calls its operator business 'Oppen Fiber' in Swedish and on his Twitter feed, Bahnhof CEO Jon Karlung suggested Telia was behind this, and he asked the rival not to kidnap the language. Openness should be open to everyone, he said.
