Bangladesh intros uniform minimum call rate for on-net, off-net calls

Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has introduced an uniform minimum call rate for all operators for on-net and off-net voice calls. The new BDT 0.45 per minute rate will go into effect on 20 August, BTRC has notified the chief executives of the country's four operators. Domestic mobile operators Grameenphone, Robi, Banglalink and Teletalk currently charge customers a minimum of BDT 0.25 per minute for on-net calls, bdnews24 reports.
