Banglalink launches Android One smartphone

Bangladeshi phone manufacturer Symphony Mobile has launched the Symphony Roar A50, a low-cost smartphone which runs on Android One. The device will be offered by local mobile operator Banglalink. The phone is available for pre-registration on the Banglalink website and sales are expected to start by mid-January. The phone features a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS (480 x 854), 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. The smartphone also sports a Cortex A7 Quad Core 1.3 GHz processor and has 3G and 4G support.
