Banglalink's Q2 revenue drops nearly 4%, EBITDA almost flat

Bangladeshi operator Banglalink saw its total revenue drop 3.9 percent year-on-year to BDT 11.1 billion in the second quarter of 2020. However, mobile data revenue jumped 30.3 percent year-on-year. EBITDA slightly decreased by 0.1 percent year-on-year to BDT 4.6 billion in the second quarter, mainly due to lower revenue and higher technology costs which were partially offset by the absence of lower operating expenses and the negative impact of tax changes, parent company Veon reported.
