Bank of America owns 5.20% of Oi

Brazilian operator Oi has declared that Bank of America holds a total of 8,197,782 shares in it through various subsidiaries, representing 5.20 percent of the total outstanding preference shares issued by Oi. Bank of America and its various subsidiaries acquire the securities solely for investment or client facilitation purposes. However, it does not seek a change of control or a change in the management structure of Oi.
