Barbados MNO Ozone Wireless suspends debt payments

Barbados MNO Ozone Wireless is suspending debt payments until January 2019 in a bid to survive just a year after launching services, reports local daily Barbados Today. The company's new CEO Nicholas Kelly revealed that the operator owes around USD 4 million to 52 different creditors, including Flow Barbados, and has had to lay off 80 percent of its workforce. Looking ahead, the chief executive said Ozone would maintain its voice over LTE service while shifting its primary focus to data provision.
