Barclaycard adds contactless payments to Android app

UK credit card provider Barclaycard will add a contactless payment feature to its existing customer app from November. This will allow UK customers to use any NFC-enabled Android phone to make contactless payments of up to GBP 30 without a PIN and up to GBP 100 by entering their PIN at over 300,000 locations in the UK, as well as across the London transport network. Barclaycard is also introducing its 'instant card replacement' feature to Android users. This will allow customers to have a lost or stolen card replaced immediately on their mobile phone via the Barclaycard app. Customers report
