Barclays offers mobile cheque imaging to Android, iPad users

UK bank Barclays has extended its mobile cheque imaging service to almost one million more customers. This includes 500,000 customers with Android phones, as well as iPad users. The service was launched in 2014 for iPhone users. Since then, the 30,000 customers signed up for the service have deposited almost GBP 750,000. Mobile cheque imaging is available through the Barclays Mobile Banking app and allows customers to pay in a Barclays cheque of up to GBP 500.
