Base adds 142,000 customers in Q1

KPN Group Belgium, or Base, added 142,000 customers in the first quarter, to reach a total of 4,274,000, including 9000 new postpaid subscribers. Total revenues for the group lifted 2.7 percent year-on-year to EUR 191 million, with wireless service revenues up 6.3 percent, impacted by MTA and roaming cuts (EUR 7 million, or 3.8%). Excluding the regulatory impact, wireless service revenues advanced 11 percent, driven mainly by Mobile Data, B2B activities, Wholesale and interconnect traffic.
